Wish List
We need
funds for the following projects:
1. Hospitality Home
Housing for volunteers (medical and
school personnel)
Facilities for classes and seminars.
(The land has already been purchased by CODEVA and the architectural blueprints are ready,
with bidding in process.)
2. Lab:
Many basic instruments and supplies
are needed to ensure our ability to handle various medical situations as well as
accomplishing office administration and recordkeeping.
- Lancets Slide covers Tine Tests
- Urine cups Pens/markers Microscope
- Tourniquets Alcohol swabs Cotton balls
- Metallic marker Microscopy oil
- Liquid cleanser
- Typewriter ribbon (dual black/red spool)
- Lab coats: 1 each in medium, large,
X-large
- Electrolytes machine for glucose, Hb or
hematocrit, etc.
- Non-sterile gloves: medium and large
- Blood drawing kit (purple tops/red tops
with or without gel, needles, and a vacutainer)
3. Medical Records
- Two large file cabinets for record
keeping
- File numbering system
- Copy paper (81/2 by 11)
- File folders
4. Administration
- Computer system
- Small, two-drawer lockable file cabinet
- Copy machine
5. Education
We are also in need of not only school
supplies but specific programs to support the educational needs of the students.
Vocational School:
Currently, all students at the school are given only formal education.
Additional classes are required to
broaden the job potential to turn around La Valee’s community and industry.

Financial Aide:
Provide for 5, part-time teachers ($150.00 per month/teacher)
School Busses:
Transportation is needed for children who now have to walk 2 – 3 miles each way from
their homes to the school and outpatient clinic.
Playgrounds/Recreation Area:
The land has already been purchased by CODEVA. Funds are needed for improvements, e.g.,
landscaping, grading, fencing, etc.
School Band: All types
of instruments are needed including music and music stands.
